My Promise -- We'll Continue To Be The Best

Laurel Mountain Basket Company has been serving the Pioneer Valley since 1998.  From the beginning we have strived to be The Best gift basket service any where.  My promise to you is that we will continue do everything we can to provide you with the best products, at the best prices, and with the best customer service.

I believe in supreme customer service.  I want you to be 100% satisfied.  We treat our clients with respect and hope to win your trust and loyalty by giving you the best product and the best price.  Every client is number one in my book and every client gets my full attention.  If you are not satisfied for what ever reason, you talk to me directly, not someone in Canada, Mexico, Taipei or Bangkok.  And, talking with me, gets you results.

Supreme Customer Service

I personally see to it that every one of our clients get the best customer service we can provide  because I appreciate receiving great customer service.   Following is an example of what I consider Supreme Customer Service from one of my vendors.

Do you shop at Whalen's Stationary and Office Supplies in Northampton?  If not, you are missing some of the BEST Customer Service in the Valley.  One day I saw Paul Diemand (the owner) at a morning networking meeting.  I mentioned that I needed some mailing labels.  Of course I didn't know the product number or even the size but I drew a rectangle (sort of) on a napkin and gave it to Paul.  I had to run a few errands before I got to the Studio that morning and when I finally did arrive at work, a package of mailing labels (exactly what I needed) had been slipped under my door.  Now that is Supreme Customer Service!

More Locally Made Product

I've always been an advocate of buying locally.  Our original business plan included seeking out local vendors for all of our products.  Well, we haven't been 100% successful but we do purchase much of our product locally and support as many local businesses as possible.  Supporting small local businesses is in everyones best interest.

I am so excited that we keep adding more and more locally made (New England) products to our inventory.  We now feature Wicked Mild Salsa Veracruz by Appalachian Naturals in our North of the Border Gift Basket and their Cape Cod's Caviar (organic cranberry sauce) in many of our New England style gift baskets.  Kristin and Shelly are committed to bridging the gap between local agriculture and packaged foods and we appreciate what they are doing to support our farming community.  You'll soon be seeing their wonderful salad dressings and vinaigrettets in Laurel Mountain Gift Baskets too!

When you see all of the sap lines running thru the New England woods you know that the 2009 maple syrup run is in full swing.  I'm looking forward to working with Stan from Zawalick's Sugar House in Northampton again this year.  Stan has been supplying us with his delicious syrup and maple candy ever since we opened the Studio in Easthampton.

Our friends at Terra Americana have added a line of gluten free products including Cranberry White Chocolate Biscotti with Russian Mulling Spice and Brownies with Coffee and Chocolate Spice.  As with all of their baked goods, "all you need are the liquids and a sweet tooth!"  The line also includes hearty foods like Garlic Risotto with tomato & parsley vinaigrette and Venetian Rice Salad with olio do panne.

We're getting more and more requests for "natural" and "healthy" gift baskets so it's great to have both Terra American and Appalachian Naturals products easily available.

I love using Ipswich Bay Soap Company soaps (Ipswich, MA) and Simply Susan's beeswax candles in our SPA gift baskets. Susan recently brought in a sampling of her new Spring colors.  They are going to make a lovely addition to our 2009 Mother's Day Gift Baskets. I love candles and her hand rolled pillars and tapers are absolutely beautiful!

More Marketing Solutions

Money is tight right now.  Almost every business is feeling the pinch.  A common response is to cut back on "non essentials" first and then everything else.  Now is NOT the time to cut back on your marketing but rather to find new and cost effective ways to reach new and existing customers.  Do you use gift baskets as part of your marketing campaign?  If not, you may be missing a wonderful opportunity.

Our corporate clients enjoy quick, easy and innovative solutions to their gift giving needs.  We provide gift baskets for every occasion that fit every budget.  Try using gift baskets for Warm Calls, Sales Incentives, New Product Launches and to say Thank You for Referrals.   We can also help you to show your employees as well as your clients that they are valued with gift baskets recognizing life events such as Promotions, Retirement, New Baby, or Condolances and help you make a positive impression when hosting a conference, board of directors' meeting, annual sales meeting or other corporate event.
