2nd Annual Whately Triathlon

Laurel Mountain Basket Company helps its home town by sponsoring the 2nd Annual Whately Police Triathlon, a fundraiser for the Whately (Massachusetts) Police Department. "We are proud to be part of this wonderful event again this year. Budgets are still tight for many small towns across the country and this is a way for us to say 'thank you' and give a little back to our police force." says Marie Lisewski, owner of the gift basket service that operated as a home based business in Whately before moving to its current retail space in Easthampton.
The event coordinators are looking for individual and team entrants, volunteers and dontations of cash or in kind gifts. To register or for more information on how you can help, call Sue at 413-522-6421.
Scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. on July 5, 2008, this USAT sanctioned event is a local race for a local cause. Proceeds from the 1/2 mile swim, 14 mile bike and 3 mile run will benefit the Town or Whately (MA) Police Department. Individual and Team Entrants are available.
